GREEN STEPS FOUNDATION
Two Men, 100 flip-flops and a dream to restore the eco-system
With an aim to restore and preserve their eco-systems, about four years ago, the Green Steps Foundation started collecting discarded rubber flip-flops found on beaches and dump sites in Tanzania, and turning them into beautiful art pieces inspired by the African culture and wildlife.

Today while their art is almost viral on social media, they struggle to keep alive this beautiful concept. In July this year, they have had to close one of their stores in
Dar-es-salaam, Tanzania.
The Colour Bug is keen to keep this project alive.
